2月28日、シンガポール国立大学リー・クアンユー公共政策大学院の日本研究ツアー歓迎会に出席しました。 同大学院は、世界各地から若手政治家、NGO、ジャーナリストなどが集まることで知られています。学生達は、将来のASEAN諸国のリーダーとなる人材です。 歓迎のスピーチは塩崎恭久元厚生労働大臣によって行われ、日本の政治的・社会的課題（高齢化問題など）の説明に加え、学生達に対するアドバイスがありました。学生達は、歓迎会に参加した日本の政府関係者や企業関係者から日本に関して学ぶようにアドバイスを受けました。歓迎会には務台俊介衆議院議員も出席し、学生達が真剣に話を聞いていました。 参加者達は、日本国内外の政策について活発な議論を交わしていました。
