U.S. lawyer gets the impossible done in Japan

Timothy Langley was featured in the Japan Times to discuss his political background and experience as a foreign lawyer in Japan. He was the first foreigner in the Diet as political aide to then Diet member Taro Nakayama (later Minister of Foreign Affairs) in 1982. Then, he worked as a corporate lawyer for companies like Apple Computers to build their presence in Asia. Later, he advocated through the American Chamber of Commerce to build dialogue between US companies and the Japanese government.
