the Blue Ribbon Panel he established on Monday with 38 key LDP influentials including Faction Members and Independents, former PM Suga, LDP Secretary General Motegi, Deputy PM Taro Aso as Advisor. It is no surprise, then, that as things are really heating-up, Kishida opened the meeting to anyone else in the LDP; you know, to any one \u201cwho might be interested\u201d. Naturally, the closed-door meeting inside LDP headquarters was packed.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d6987c3 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"d6987c3\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-64fbc84 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"64fbc84\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>It turns out that late in the week, the Public Prosecutors reached a conclusion. It is their position that proving a \u201cconspiracy\u201d between the Accountants \/ Faction-internal treasury with Faction Members would be \u2018too difficult\u2019. As a result, the investigation is winding-down. This 47-member faction is the oldest, having produced 5 Prime Ministers. Treasurer Kazuo Sasaki resigned last month, and was indicted on Friday. Kishida said the controversy was largely due to \u2018administrative oversight\u2019. He revised the Faction tax filing by adding \u00a530+ million to revenues over the last 3-year period and delivered this to the Internal Affairs Ministry on Thursday. This triggered more dominos;<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f0ddd7d e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"f0ddd7d\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-842eed3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"842eed3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>The Abe Faction disbanded on Friday, following a team meeting where the younger Diet Members formed a team to demand the Leaders do something. Leadership Committee Chair, Ryu Shionoya responded that \u201cwe were misled by Administrators\u201d and that the complaint of overbearing pressure by faction bigwigs to \u201ckeep your mouth shut about the kickbacks\u201d over the years was \u201cnews to me!\u201d. The Abe Faction is accused of amassing more than \u00a5500+ million over the last 3 years;<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e9fcdba e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"e9fcdba\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bd7aead elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bd7aead\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>The Nikai Faction disbanded also on Friday. They are accused of collecting \u00a5200+ million over the last three years. Tamura replaces Kazuo Shii who will remain as Chair of the Central Committee.
